Hello painting friends. Since the lockdown, in my new paintings I have enjoyed developing a more expressive brushy style. I hope you like it.

I made my work after I saw an empty beach. I would like to share it to AHA members. Mahalo! Michael Chang,

A new work from our AHA vice-president and Newsletter editor, entitled: “Red White Black and Blue”.

This is a new painting in Renton Road. Most of the remaining houses are from the plantation days. Every sunny day driving by this house, shadows lurked in the foreground and it struck me as a kind of mysterious and inviting dwelling amongst the trees. Ewa Beach has so many quaint spots from old. I’m happy I was able to paint it – Teresa Shea
